Salvestrols and CYP1B1, chemotherapy is not the solution for cancer. Tackle the cause through healthy eating and exercise
The CYP1B1 enzyme, which can be found in all cancer cells (both early and late stage forms), binds with salvestrols* and together they affect the growth and death of the cancer cells. Cancer cell growth is retarded and their apoptosis (the programmed cell death) increases dramatically.
What are salvestrols? How do they influence your health?
Salvestrols are small molecules in plants, vegetables, fruit and herbs. They protect plants against fungal attacks, and could be considered as a plant’s immune system. They serve a different purpose, have a different effect and also have a different mechanism in human beings.
What is cancer? How can we prevent cancer?
Cancer is cellular disease in our bodies. When DNA damage causes a cell to start leading its own life, it will grow uncontrolled and develop into a cancer cell. It starts with just one cell that multiplies and spreads, without dying off. Cancer is a very long process, starting with a cell that mutates, with the mutations continuing until an aggressive cancer can arise. Every day many micro-tumours develop in your body that could become cancer, but they are killed off. Because this extended process precedes cancer, the role of prevention is of crucial importance. Our lifestyle is the biggest factor when it comes to prevention – nourishment, exercise and other healthy habits.
Chemotherapy not only fights cancer, but healthy cells too
Traditional chemotherapy is NOT specific for cancer cells alone, and thus not only attacks cancer cells but healthy ones too, causing the many side-effects of chemotherapy. But what if there was a molecule that could recognise cancer cells and then neutralise them?
The perfect cancer treatment? It’s not chemotherapy
What would be the perfect cancer treatment? Not chemotherapy, but a molecule that recognises malignant cells, attaches itself to them and then neutralises their impact while leaving the healthy cells unaffected.
Research by Prof. Dan Burke into salvestrols and cancer. Enzyme type CYP1B1
In 1995 a student of Prof. Dan Burke accidentally discovered that all cancer cells contain a specific enzyme – CYP1B1 – which does not occur in healthy cells. In 1997, after much research, Prof. Burke discovered that a natural component of vegetables and fruit, called salvestrol, was able to bind perfectly with CYP1B1 enzymes in cancer cells. Moreover, these salvestrols did NOT affect healthy cells. After further research it emerged that as soon as salvestrols would bind to type CYP1B1 enzymes, the structure of the salvestrol changed so that it could attack and destroy the cancerous cells. The greater the dose of salvestrol, the more cancer cells died.
Salvestrols in daily foods? Healthy eating for a healthy body
You’re probably now wondering whether eating vegetables, fruit and herbs, all of which are rich in salvestrols, can prevent or cure cancer. The answer is both yes and no.
It can, because even the smallest micro-tumours are high in CYP1B1, and if your food is rich in salvestrols then they will bind to the CYP1B1 enzymes and the malignant cells will die.
But it can’t, because the current Western eating patterns means we get far too little salvestrol for it to have a preventative effect. Further, today fruit and vegetables contain much less salvestrol than 100 years ago – about 20% less.
Eat organic and healthy food and exercise daily to prevent cancer
Organically grown fruit and vegetables play a crucial role in getting enough salvestrol. In turn they have a preventative effect against cancer, especially together with sufficient exercise and other healthy habits. While one cannot call salvestrol a cancer treatment, it certainly helps to prevent it.
What do Amanprana and Prof. Dan Burke have in common? Healthy eating, raw food and olive oil
Amanprana and Prof. Dan Burke:
- are 100% behind organic foods
- are against toxic tumour treatments
- are in favour of raw food
- believe that cancer can often be prevented through healthy food
- are in favour of unfiltered, organic olive oil as it is rich in salvestrols –
- Believe that Amanprana’s Hermanos Catalán extra virgin olive oil is the best there is
