Carotenes help keep skin young
Beautiful skin is primarily determined by the texture, firmness and complexion. The natural ageing process is subtly noticeable among thirty-year-olds, but becomes more visible from 40 to 50 years of age. "Carotenes are the only substance in creams for which there is a scientific consensus that they are truly effective in fighting wrinkles*", says dermatologist Serge Coopman. Carotenes protect the collagen proteins which prevents or smoothes fine wrinkles. Carotenes prevent the formation of wrinkles by countering the oxidation processes of the various layers of skin. "Carotenes mainly have a visible effect on crow's feet around the eyes*", says Serge Coopman. The concentration of carotenes (Vit. A) in carotene creams is usually between 0.025 and 0.05%. Carotenes make the skin turn red more quickly in the sun, but in this case this is in fact a sign that the skin can react more actively. The following day one is more radiant.

Reaction of Amanprana:
All of the Amanprana daytime oils and body oils as well as Razoli shaving oil and Shangri-la eye contour and facial serum naturally contain various types of carotenes and different sorts of Vitamin E. Together they protect the skin better than carotenes alone. The Amanprana range is superbly suitable for anti-ageing. The best anti-wrinkle product is Shangri-la (on the skin) and Okinawa Omega Happy Perilla Special (taken daily).
