Hello, nice of you to come and take glance at my recipe review. Here, I have made a fine selection of recipes and chefs. Amanprana and/or I has/have a special bond with each of them. We, for example, have cooked together and have the same vision of eating. Healthy, tasty and refreshing meals without fuss. Tasty meals to be healthy and happy. Ayurvedic cuisine, macrobiotics, raw food, vegan cooking and proper food combinations have inspired my recipes.
In the meantime, I have put together quite a few recipes. From appetizers to pancakes and from delicious snacks to smoothies. The emphasis is on pure and natural, without refined nutrients. Nutrition is your best medicine!
Do you know anyone who does not love tart, cake or cookies? I don’t think so, everyone loves them. There are always a few cake or cookie recipes going around. Take cake, for instance. There’s apple cake, pear cake, carrot cake, cake with dried fruit… Everyone passes recipes to everyone, because cake is delicious and does not take a lot of work. Our cake recipes are a bit different from the standard ones, in terms of flour, eggs, sugar and butter.
At Amanprana we like to create ultra healthy options for classic dishes. We do this for instance by replacing butter or vegetable oil with coconut oil, white refined sugar is replaced with palm sugar, and instead of refined flour, we use coconut fibres, almond meal or hazelnut meal. As you can see in Martine Prenen’s muffin recipe you can adjust our recipes for tart, cake or cookies to your own taste. Add seasonal fruit, vary with nuts and seeds, discover the difference between rice milk and oat milk, compared to almond milk, or choose flour of a gluten free grain type when necessary… Each small change will provide a difference in flavour.
Variation is also an important way of providing your body with different nutrients. And that is important. A monotonous eating pattern often comes about because we are familiar with ingredients or recipes, but this monotony might lead to a deficiency in minerals or vitamins.
